LAST CALL IN DOSKVOL is a community campaign to celebrate the launch of OMM’s first game! Participants get to try Blades in the Dark: OMM Edition before anyone else, and the winner gets their crew immortalized in the game as an official starting faction.

𝕳𝖎𝖌𝖍 𝕷𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖑 𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖊𝖘

1. In order to play, you have to join a Crew. Each Crew is run by a GM in the community.

2. Anyone in the Crew can volunteer (and should volunteer!) to GM. And GM’s can take a turn playing! But once you’re in a Crew, you’re in. No switching (if you’re having serious issues, message Dushan#0001).

3. We’ve modified the Crew rules of Blades slightly in order to simplify this competition. The TLDR is that successful scores + holding turf gets you points. Most points wins! This is mostly like running any normal Blades campaign, but with a meta-game layered over the top.

4. You will likely be taking turf from other Crews. This is a competitive community campaign and an experiment we’re trying. Even though this is a competitive game, bullying, harassment, and putting down other crews will not be tolerated!

5. You can play anytime, as often as you want, whenever your crew can play. BUT you may only make 3 turf attacks per week, maximum.

6. Last Call begins 6PM PST September 6th — that’s when we will hand out Verse links to GMs. Last call ends October 5th midnight PST — that’s when we will tally the final scores!

7. You might earn a free copy of Blades x OMM by GMing, but you WILL lose access to your Last Call verse once the competition ends (so that your future Verses can reflect the fully finished game)!

GM’s 𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖊𝖘

• Your crew is yours! You should name it, and work with your players to come up with your own crew lore.
• You will Choose 1 asset from the library that represents your crew - kind of like a game token.
• No min crew size but we recommend you keep it to 10 players or under for your own health and safety.
• If you run at least 3 sessions as a GM individually, you’ll get a free copy of Blades x OMM (valid for multiple GMs per crew, but each session only counts towards a single GM. Sessions should be 30 min minimum to count).
• There is no hard expectation for frequency, but in order to let your players properly compete, you should expect that you can run 3 scores during the 5 weeks.
• Blades is a dangerous game. If your crew queues up for an ambitious score, they should have a high chance of failure. Don’t compromise your GMing for the competition!
